YOUTH WINTER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Children will have fun participating in organized basketball games each week. Each team will follow a rotating schedule and enjoy learning the rules of the game. The last week of the league will follow a playoff format. Weekly practices will be held at the Meriden YMCA. Volunteer coaches are needed! Call (203) 235-6386.
Please note: There will be no basketball on March 7 & 8 and Easter Sunday April 5.

Games will be four 7-minute quarters with a running clock. The only time stoppage will be for timeouts, when less than 1-minute is on the clock, and the end of the quarter. Half time will be 5 minutes in length. Coaches are allowed 1 timeout per half. The referees have final say in all calls and will not be challenged by coaches or spectators.
