MERIDEN - As a way to celebrate Halloween the Meriden YMCA is planning to host a trick-or-treat celebration Friday November 5 at 6:30 pm. "The first thing that was out of my kids' mouths was ‘what happened to Halloween?'" Y Executive Director John Benigni said. "We're not going to take our kids out trick-or-treating tonight because of the lack of power."
