The Connecticut age groups witnessed remarkable swims, impressive best times, and numerous qualifying times, as well as several new Seals pool records, from our MMBBY Seals swimmers. We are incredibly proud of each of them and would love to share some of their outstanding accomplishments.Owen Carter, age 13, achieved three zone cuts, including the 100 backstroke with a 57.56, the 200 backstroke 2:05.20, and the 50 free with a 23.96.
Abigail Henry, age 11, achieved 5 new ISCA Showcase Classic cuts, including 50 back with a 33.44, 100 freestyle 1:00.49, 50 butterfly, 30.25, 100 butterfly 1:08.07, and the 50 freestyle with a time of 27.76.
Bailey Kissane, age 14, added to her zone cuts with the 200 IM 2:16.08, 200 breaststroke 2:33.73, 400 IM 4:49.56, and the 100 butterfly 1:00.64.
Harper Kissane, age 10, added to her zone cuts while taking 1st place in 100 butterfly 1:10.32. 50 backstroke taking 4th place and a zone cut with a time of 34.90. The 100 backstroke finishing with a time of 1:11.52 and 2nd place. The 100 IM 1:16.64 finishing 2nd place and 50 butterfly with a time of 32.81 and finishing the meet in 3rd place.
Kristina Klementon, age 14 (missing from photos - hope to add soon), had three terrific swims. All three were best times with qualifying times for ISCA Showcase Classic. The 100 freestyle with a time of 58.77, the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:15.47, and ending with the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.20.
Ashleigh Zgorski, age 12, added her first zone cut in the 50 freestyle with a best time of 26.52, landing her in fourth place overall. Ashleigh also added to her ISCA Showcase Classic qualifying times in the 50 backstroke with a time of 31.46. The 100 freestyle with a time of 59.53. The 50 butterfly with a time of 30.42, the 100 IM 1:10.93, the 200 freestyle 2:13.23.
We are thrilled to celebrate each of their achievements, which are a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and dedication. It's inspiring to see them overcome challenges and continue to strive for excellence.

Ashleigh Zgorski for breaking the record in the 11/12 girls 50 freestyle with a time of 26.52. Congratulations to all four of you for breaking these records at the 2025 Connecticut short course age group meet!!
